Live Stage

Seating 450 people, tickets for the Live Stage auditorium are available at the show only and are collected from specific stands, generally the artist's sponsoring company. The tickets are first come first served, so an early arrival to the show is recommended. There will be a board detailing which stands to collect tickets at the entrance ticket desk.

Kenny Aronoff is one of the world’s most in-demand session players and will be performing on Saturday 15th October. Kenny is not only a renowned clinician and excellent performer, but also one of the most in-demand session musicians in the world. He has performed on over 30 Grammy-nominated recordings and has played for such artists as John Mellencamp, The Smashing Pumpkins, Melissa Etheridge, Jon Bon Jovi, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Joe Cocker, B. B. King, Mick Jagger and many more.

Gregg Bissonette, who is currently touring with Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band (read Drummer’s interview with Gregg in issue 92), will be performing on the main stage on Saturday 15th October. Gregg has performed with the likes of David Lee Roth, Joe Satriani, Toto, Brian Wilson, Santana and many more, and has recently recorded with the Counting Crows and Duran Duran. Gregg’s performance is one that visitors to the show will not want to miss!

Dave Elitch, formally of band The Mars Volta, features on the bestselling GospelChops.com DVD Shed Sessionz Vol. 2, where he plays alongside some of the best gospel/R&B drummers in the industry. In addition to being a touring and recording session musician, Dave Elitch is also an educator. He has been teaching for 10 years and is one of the most in-demand private teachers in Los Angeles. The London Drum Show welcomes Dave to the stage for what promises to be a thrilling live performance.

Thomas Lang headlines Saturday’s Main Stage performances. Thomas took up drumming at the age of 5 and was formally educated at the Vienna Conservatory of Music. Thomas Lang worked way up to performing with the elite of the European pop, rock and jazz scenes and has performed with the likes of Robbie Williams. One of the world’s most respected drummers, Thomas is celebrated as an an incredible clinician, educator (his Creative Control DVD [Husdon] is a world best seller) and session drummer. Thomas performs at the 2011 London Drum Show by popular demand and promises to be a not-to-miss attraction.
